Ganesh Chaturthi also known as Vinayak Chaturthi or Vinayaka Chaturthi is the Hindu festival which is celebrated to commemorate the birth of Lord Ganesha. It generally falls in the month of August or September and this year 2019 it has fallen on 2nd September. It is celebrated all over India but in Mumbai, it is celebrated with much more enthusiasm and show. Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated very largely in the state of Maharashtra and its capital Mumbai celebrates it like Durga Puja is so largely celebrated in Kolkata. Thousands and Thousands of people flock on the streets of Mumbai and look at all the super big idols of Lord Ganesh.
